There has to be a way out...

Arista moaned feeling awful as she started to awake. What happened? Last thing she remembered was going on a vacation with her family.
Slowly, she sat up, rubbing her head. "Mom? Dad?" she called, before opening her eyes.
A gasp left her when she realized she was in an unfamiliar place. "What? This isn't the hotel... Though it looks like an foyer..." she mumbled, before noticing two other people in the room with her.
She was disappointed when she saw they weren't her parents. Slowly standing, she felt tight in her dress. Did I get fat? She wondered before looking down and noticing her dress was extremely tight on her.
It took her a moment to realize that her bra was gone as well. "What? What is going on?" She looked around, trying to find a phone or something.
"Is anyone here? Hello?" she called, moving to a door only to find it locked. "Dang it..." she mumbled, before she moved over to the people on the floor. "Hey, hey, wake up..." She shook both the woman and the man lightly.

He felt as thought that kidnapper was sneaky when seeing him on the bus stop on that very day he got kidnapped. The only thing that he remembered was him waiting for the bus on the corner near his home. He felt as though his head was spinning and he felt very dizzy. He did look around the area when he felt a shake and a woman's voice telling him to wake up and it seemed as though a foyer was in his presence but, it was probably somewhere else. He had no idea on where he was right now and thought that this place did look pretty small. He was scattering as he was looking for his backpack with his lunch and card for his internship, but, it was not there. What the hell is this? Why would a kidnapper go around the area and taking people? This, to him was not a joke at all. He felt as though he was just pissed right now. He needed to get to his internship and right now, there was no way out. He looked at the woman who was blonde and heard her question on what was going on. He nodded his head and gave off a small shrug. "Hey, no idea. I would be asking you the same thing. I don't think you're the only one who would be trying to look for help. I'm sure other people will be doing the same thing." He replied, and saw that she was trying to wake up another young woman. So, he was being surrounded by two ladies and he felt though that his gentleman presence would at least protect the ladies from danger, if there is danger. They did seem pretty cute, but, this was no time for conversation, but, introductions would not be so bad. "Hey, your name?" He asked, and reached out his hand towards the blonde haired young woman. Hopefully, there will be a way to escape out of this hellhole, at least after getting to know the group members.

I'm getting the hell out of here

Post by Marina Suarez on Aug 7, 2016 12:52:21 GMT
Marina woke up with a groan, as a hand started shaking her shoulder insistently. There had been no talks of getting up early today, since she and Tulio were taking a couple of days to study the city they had just entered (Barcelona) before planning cons, and, thief or not, she still needed (and deserved) her beauty sleep. Yet, she still rubbed her tired eyes, gently chasing the hand away as she started sitting up; Tulio probably had a good reason to wake her up so early, no matter what it was. The fact that she was lying on the cold ground didn't surprise her right away, for sadly it had become a habit in her new, street life, but she distinctly remembered that Tulio and her had booked a room in a hotel last night. Slightly taken aback by this revelation, she rose her head to search for her friend's familiar face... just to meet those of two complete strangers. Marina jumped to her feet almost instantly, alert. She'd learned quickly that, when thrown into an unknown place, she needed to get a grasp of her situation the fastest way possible to not be taken by surprise. But she could barely make two steps away from the strangers, before she felt her legs fail her. Struggling to keep her balance, the woman's left hand went to her forehead; she'd moved too quickly, so much that a headache, which she hadn't noticed before, was making it difficult for her to stand. She was also feeling very tight in her clothes, and this had also thrown herself aback for a split moment. Groaning yet again, she tried to stay still, hoping the pain would go away if she didn't make any brusque movements again.
Her eyes tired from the too sudden pain, she hastily studied the place. A small, cold room, with a foyer, a tall closed door. She could make a run for it if these people were to be aggressive, but for now, she decided to make contact. Until now, they had seemed pretty friendly, and for what she understood, they didn't know each other, but were presenting themselves. And her partner, Tulio, was nowhere to be seen. This wasn't making her feel safe at all; but it also worried her. Wherever he was, hopefully still at the hotel, she hoped he was fine. But she had some doubts. He would never leave her alone like that, nor would let anyone take her away without trying to defend her, that she knew for sure. Though, considering her massive headache, maybe this was just a really big hangover, and she'd blacked out here without remembering anything. Even if that wasn't like her at all, it was a preferable explanation than... anything else that came to mind. She cleared her throat, feeling a little dizzy from the pain she still felt throbbing in her mind. Maybe, if they were calm enough to chat, there wasn't so much to worry about.
"Good morning. Excuse my manners, I was a little... surprised by my surroundings." she said calmly as she bowed her head with a gentle smile, putting all her ladylike habits to good use without being 'too much'. She was definitely not liking any of this, but a Dame wouldn't let strangers see that. "My name is Marina. Could any of you inform me of where we are, and, possibly, how to leave?"

Arista looked at the man as he woke up. "Take it easy..." she said, softly, noticing he didn't seem to feel so good.
Though, if she were honest, she didn't feel that great either, but she had always been prone to headaches so it wasn't anything new to her. Headaches had become a normal thing in her everyday life.
Other people? Did he think there were others besides us? She thought.
Arista was still trying to figure out what happened. She was wearing her nice red dress, so her and her parents must have gone out to eat for dinner. But where were they?
When the young man offered her hand, she gave him a small smile before taking it. "I'm-" she began, only to be cut off when the woman laying next to them woke up.
"Careful!" Arista stood as the woman started to have issues with her balance. "Just breathe..."
Arista felt better when the woman seemed to be okay. "You're fine, I believe we all have been surprised..." She offered a smile, though it was weak.
"Um, I'm Arista, and I'm sorry, but, uh, we can't..." she trailed off, biting her bottom lip. "I only woke up a couple of minutes before you two. I was on vacation with my parents and woke up here... The door is locked, I tried it already..."

As Jim saw that another woman was waking up just now, he could tell that she was pretty tired and wanted to go back to sleep, which was pretty understandable. She was yet, another cute one, but, he was not sure if she was in the mood for a small flirty chat at all. All he could do was give out a small wave until she was fully awake. He then saw that she was slowly waking up and could also tell that she was lost and had no idea on where she was, of course, everyone would be thinking the same thing since it happened in the blink of an eye. He then saw that she was slightly remembering something and he assumed that it was the past but, was not too sure. He knew that all three of them would have to get used to one another and he did just noticed that the two women were wearing tight clothing and had a suspicious look on his face. He had no idea on why their clothing was stolen and by the looks of one of them trying to get up, it looked like a tough situation. He didn't want to ask any questions that made him look like a pervert. He then looked at her groaning and he went up to her and helped her with her trying to stand up as well. "Easy does it.." He said, gently, trying to not look at her breasts. He then saw that the room worried her and he did feel bad for her and the blonde haired woman as well, and of course, he wanted to get out and leave for his job, if there was. He then saw that the brunette haired woman was looking for someone, perhaps a friend or a parter? He had no idea, but questions needed to be asked later. He did look at her, thinking she already got a boyfriend, but, she was still very pretty. He then saw that she was in pain again and he gave off a small sigh, thinking that this journey was going to be a long one, but, still has hope of three of them surviving all together. He heard her clearing her throat and heard her introducing herself as "Marina" and he nodded. Jim slowly walked up to him and shook her hand. "Hey, name's Jim." He introduced himself to the young woman. He then heard her asking on where they were and how to get out and he knew that one of them was going to ask. "Hey, no idea. I think we are in some sort of foyer. No idea on why we are here though." He said, with a small shrug. He then heard the blonde woman introducing herself as "Arista" and he nodded. "Hey." He said, giving her a small wink, thinking she as pretty cute and slender, but did not want to come off as a pervert. He then heard her mention that the door was locked and he snapped his fingers. "Great, just great." He said to himself, and rolled his eyes. "Let me try.." He said to Arista, and tried the doorknob. Shit, it's not opening. She was right. It then seemed like she was going first on telling on how she got into this mysterious place, so, it was his turn. "Well, I know on how you feel. I was waiting for a bus to get to my internship and then, I'm here." He said, giving her a pat on the back. "I'm sure we'll find our way out." He said to her and turned to Marina. "How about you? How did you get here?" He asked, as he tried to get the conversation rolling so, all three of them could at least get used to one another. Although his group was women, he did not mind helping them at all, at least they were friendly, and pretty..nice.

Marina smiled kindly to hide her embarrassment when both strangers turned towards her, apparently worried. She'd just been startled by her situation, and by her dizziness. She didn't want them to think she was weak. But she didn't rebuff the man's help when he walked to her, nor his hand when he shook it and presented himself as Jim. She wasn't one to reject some chivalry; and, as any beautiful woman who knows her worth, quickly noticed the way he tried not to eye her way-too-exposed breasts. She smiled, somewhat amused, yet appreciating his attempts to at least give her some form of privacy and dignity despite the situation. Her clothes had definitely not been like this when she'd gone to sleep, and she wasn't sure she liked the look it gave her. The way he winked at the blonde showed a clear player side, but at least he could still be a gentleman. Her attention went to the woman who had presented herself as Arista, nodded to her as to acknowledge her name, and then turned to the door. Locked? Frowning, she'd made a step forward, but Jim had been quicker, and was already trying the doorknob. Cautious, she stayed close to him and eyed his movements, wanting to make sure he wasn't tricking them. Sadly, the door really seemed closed for good, and without any material, even with her ways, she wouldn't be able to unlock it. Hell, she couldn't even try to use the metal from her bra, which had disappeared somewhere with Tulio and the rest of decent clothings! Sighing, she quietly listened to her new acquaintances presenting more of themselves. She wondered how much she should tell them. True, whoever put her there probably knew where she'd been; but was it smart to mention Tulio to these strangers? What if that put him in danger as well? Whoever was to blame for this, maybe hadn't found her partner, if he'd somehow escaped... They were thieves, after all. Discretion was key.
“All I remember is that I went to sleep in a hotel. I was visiting town with a friend.” She chose her words carefully. Little truths weren't complete lies. “I have no idea how I got here, nor where he is... or where we are.” She looked around her. “What country do you think this is?”
It has to be Spain, she thought. I can't be that far away. It has only been one night... I think.
She stopped her hand from patting her forehead again. So many uncertainties were only making her headache get worse. “I don't suppose you are feeling sick, too.”

"Oh, uh..." Arista trailed off when Marina asked what country they were in. "I-I haven't even considered... I was on vacation in Louisiana in the United States... My parents and I live in Florida, so we wanted to see some different sights for once..." she admitted, with a small shrug.
Could we possibly not be in America? So much for my trip in Baton Rouge... She thought, feeling more depressed by the minute.
At the mention of headaches, Arista put a hand on the back of her head. "Actually... I'm prone to headaches... I-I didn't really notice..." She blushed a little, playing with the lock of hair that fell in front of her face. "Though... I do feel worse than usual, I guess."
Sighing, she moved to sit down against the wall, but decided against it when her dress felt too tight to move into a sitting position. "I haven't seen a phone and whoever took us decided to not leave me my phone... I know this will sound odd, but... do your clothes feel... tighter than normal?" she asked, leaning her back against the wall, as she self-consciously hugged her shoulders.
She shivered a little feeling cold and more bare than she liked. It had been a one night thing to be dressed up as she was, going out on the town her with parents...
Ugh... I don't have my medicine... Darn it... She thought, rubbing her arm a little.

As he saw that she was trying to hide her embarrassment, he could tell that she was unsure of her revealing her true feelings of being in distress. He could tell that she was dizzy and he wished that he could do something to help her out, like give her Advil or some medication like that. He could tell that she did not want to come off as being weak at all, and that was understandable, as he did feel pain in the downstairs department, but, did try to manage to put on a brave face. He then saw that she didn't mind him being around her, especially with the greeting, and once he saw that she was smiling at him, he did smile back. He did want to come off to the two ladies as a gentleman, and not a player at all and all of them were at least trying to get to know one another, even though they all ended up in the same room unexpectedly. He did feel frustrated when the door was not opening, and at least wished that the door could at least budge as well. He then noticed that Marina was looking at the door, disappointed, and he felt as though he was getting a little irritated by this. Why would the kidnapper lock them up in the room anyway? He could imagine one of the girls using a metal piece of a bra or a necklace, but, was not sure if that could work either, hell, if his pencil was there, he would be out by now with the rest of the girls. He then noticed that she was looking for her partner again, and he could wish that he could at least think of something with using a tool to at least let them out. He saw that she was listening to their stories about how they mysteriously got into this mysterious room and at least got into the conversation, which is a good sign of her getting to know pretty much everyone so far. He heard her mentioning that she was visiting a friend, and he nodded as she went to the part on where she mentioned that she had no idea on how she got into the room in the first place. It was a similar story to Arista's and of course, his. As he heard her asking on what country they were in, he shook his head and gave off a small shrug. "No idea. I guess it has to be, I guess America or someplace in America?" He responded with a guess, thinking it was that country. Besides, a foyer would have been fancier, if in another country, but, America had to be his best guess. He then saw that she was getting sick again and he nodded at her. "Eh, a little painful headache and a bit of a pain in the downstairs department, but, I'm fine, I guess." He responded, and felt a bit of a headache coming on. He then saw the blonde haired woman talking about her vacation and he nodded, thinking that it would be a nice spot to be at, "I bet it's better than being at this place." He responded, rolling his eyes, trying to not get the hellhole out of his head. He then saw that she was feeling worse than ever and he felt bad for the both of them. He didn't want to be all "touchy feel" around them since he could tell that they do both feel very uncomfortable in the outfits. He then also heard that the kidnapper took the blonde hair lady's phone as well, and grumbled at that. It could have been their ticket way out of here, but, no phone meant no help. He then saw that she looked really cold, and he felt bad for her so, he takes off his jacket and puts it around Arista's shoulders. "It's not much, but, I hope it'll make you stay warm." He said, looking at Marina and wished there was an extra. If he had to take his pants off and have her hold onto it to at least keep warm, he would do it. Even though his underwear may be the only piece of clothing, he would at least want the girls to stay warm. He sighed as he took his white t-shirt off and threw it at Marina. "Here, put this over your body, that way, no one would notice." He said, with a small smile and sits between the both of them. "Well, I am from New York actually. I did go to college looking for an internship at a place on where I wanted to do engineering.." He said, trying to lighten up the mood, hoping the girls would be interested in listening.

"Maybe you should sit down?" Arista asked, looking at Marina. "If I had anything, I'd give you something..."
Arista blushed a little when Jim mentioned he was feeling pain 'downstairs'. If she had her purse, she could have given him something for the pain. Though she didn't know a lot of what would help with pain in that area for men.
She blushed more when she felt Jim put his jacket around her. "O-oh! Thank you... You didn't have to..." she said softly, giving him a small smile.
His jacket instantly warmed her up, having just been warn by him. It was comforting to wear. Arista snuggled inside the jacket, it almost feeling like a big hug around her.
When Jim suddenly took off his shirt and gave it to Marina, she blushed suddenly. "Will you be all right?" she asked, as he sat down next to her.
She pushed her hair out of her face, taking a better look at him as he spoke about what he had been going to and where he was from. A smile came over her as he talked about what he was obviously been excited about doing at his internship. "I hear engineering is a really good profession... I had been going to college to study more theatre and history... I've been on a break for a couple of years though after getting my associates..."

Marina blinked twice in surprise as Jim handed her his shirt, showing his bare chest to both of them. Giving his jacket to Arista, she could understand. But there was being a gentleman, and then there was stripping down. Even if she really WASN'T comfortable with her new clothes, she didn't want him to catch a cold either. Or feel obligated. She still took it, choosing to cover her forms. Both had already been sitting down, and she didn't like standing up in front of them (and Arista was right, maybe it would make her feel a little better); but she knew her clothes were so tight that sitting down would show too much. If Jim needed it, she'd hand it over.
“You really didn't have to.” She still said with a smile, kneeling down, knowing it'd be quicker to get up that way if needed. “But thanks. I guess I still need to get used to this... until I can change into something more my size. Tell me if you feel cold, though. Wouldn't want you to get sick just for a missing bra.” She joked.
And really, there were more urgent problems. Like, for example their location.
“America, really?” She didn't hide her worry this time, her eyes going from one to another. Was it a coincidence that they were both from there? Why was she different? “Last thing I remember, my friend and I were in Spain, Europe... I haven't been to America in months... Why would I be here”
She looked around the room once more, clearly uneasy. She stared at the door for a moment. If she had any of her instruments, any material... She could unlock it, she was sure. But neither she nor her new “roomies” seemed to have any of their belongings left, and the door was too strong to be broken. She wanted to get out. She didn't like any of this. It was too weird, too creepy, and she didn't feel safe. Even if she tried putting on a smile and a brave face, internally, she was feeling more and more nervous. So much so, that she barely listened to Jim and Arista as they chatted, but still felt some interest as they mentioned their studies. Marina had been studying to be a lawyer, before she'd decided to leave everything behind and run away from home. She hadn't put a foot in a classroom since.
“I'm glad to see you two enjoy what you've been studying...” she meant it. She'd never had that luck, and wasn't sure it would ever come at this point. “I've personally just been travelling around the world for a few years...Seeing places.” She finished, not entirely sure why she was telling this to a couple of strangers in such a situation, but still somewhat enjoying the conversation.

Arista looked at Marina with interests. "Really? That sounds amazing. I've always wanted to travel the world." She smiled at the thought of going to Italy, France, Spain.
It was a wonderful dream. But it was one that Arista could never fulfill in her life. Not with her health...
She shook her head, before pushing herself off the wall. "There's got to be something we can do... My parents might be here, I have to find them..." she told them, before moving back over to the door.
Knocking on the door, she started calling out. "Hello? Is anyone there? Please! We need answers!"
She started pushing and pulling on the door, hoping it would give it some budge.

While Arista messed with the door, a sudden loud click was heard. After the click the door started to open slightly.
Do you wish to open it more?

She smiled at the blonde's words. Travelling truly was a beautiful thing, even if she was to do it in poor conditions.
She raised an eyebrow as the woman got back up and to the door, pushing and pulling, and hesitantly got to her feet. She also wanted to get out of there. But she didn't want Arista to hurt herself either.
“Eyh, don't be too rough there, I don't think that's going to...” her words were interrupted by a loud click, as the door slightly moved. “... open...”
She stood in place for a moment, taken by surprise, before moving towards the blonde woman, who seemed even more shocked than she was. She clearly wasn't expecting this.
Marina took her arm, gently pulling her away from the door “Careful...” she whispered. One hand still on Arista's arm, she took a step forward, trying not to breath too loudly, though not sure if that'd change anything, she decided to stay as far away from the gap as she could, not touching the door, while still taking a peek outside, trying to make something out of what she could see there.

When Marina opened the door and peeked out of it, she would notice something ran into the darkness. Of course she wasn't able to get a good look at it. The more she looked out of the door, the more she started to see. It looked like there was a hallway of some sorts leading to another door. Perhaps the way out?
She couldn't study any longer.
Before Marina could react she saw something running towards them. It let out a growl and jumped on Marina. Pushing her away from the door. It scratched her left cheek while doing this too. It then growled again and bit at something that let out a groan. Whatever it bit, it ran away very quickly.
The dog then looked behind it, staring at the three people in the room. It wagged it's tail at them. He had a collar. It read...
Balto
CONGRATS, YOU GOT YOUR DOG COMPANION, HE WILL HELP YOU FROM NOW ON. YOU MAY PROCEED INTO THE HALLWAY. START A TOPIC THERE WHEN YOU'RE READY TO ENTER IT.

Arista stared at the opened door in shock. She hadn't expected that to work, only to try and get someone's attention out there. When Marina came and moved her out of the way, while still holding her hand, Arista felt grateful. She held the older woman's hand tightly, but not tight enough to hurt.
Part of her wanted to peek out the door with her, but at the same time, Arista felt too scared. This would be the part in the horror movie that something does a jump scare... She thought, just before something jumped out at Marina, pushing her away from the door.
Arista let out a scream, pulling on Marina's hand to help her get away from whatever was attacking her. Soundly there was growling and groaning, before suddenly there was a dog in front of them.
Arista breathed heavily. "O-oh my... Marina, are you all right?" she asked, looking at the woman seeing the scratch on her cheek. Marina looked almost as pale as Arista did, her eyes wide in shock and fear.
Her eyes went back tot he dog, seeing his tail wagging and not attacking them. In that moment, she realized the dog had saved Marina. A smile came over Arista's face as she moved to the dog. "Hi..." She smiled at him before cautiously raising a hand to pet his head. "Good boy!"
Feeling his collar, she looked at it to see his name on it. "I think his name's Balto... Where did you come from?" she asked, tilting her head at Balto as she continued to pet his head.
