A disorganized trio left the study room running as fast as they could, Balto guiding them on their way out. None of them seemed eager to stay around to see if that insane psycho wanted anything else or not, and Marina was glad about that.
As they kept putting some distance between the door and them, still following their new dog companion, her eyes went to Arista, still being helped around by Jim, having fainted as they escaped. Marina had to be honest with herself; the blonde had been so sweet and gentle all this time, looking around with her scared, wide eyes, and had such a fragile body, she'd kind of expected her to be the weakling of their little group. Which is why she'd taken the risk of inspecting their first door instead of her, getting hurt herself in the process, and had felt so worried for her against Alistair. But she had to admit it; when needed, the girl had guts. Both Marina and Jim had rested useless, trying to get some strength back, and she'd run into the dangerous man without thinking, for them. It'd been reckless, but brave.
Maybe she'd misjudged her, after all.
“Are you alright?” She whispered in the still sleeping girl's ear without slowing down, not wanting to get caught defenseless yet again. She noticed a big bruise around the girl's neck only growing bigger, as she still appeared weakened by her fight. Her eyes opened slowly, as she seemed to wake up from her black out. Marina decided to keep talking to her, even though she wasn't completely sure she was fully conscious yet. Maybe that would help her get back to reality. “It was really valiant, what you did there. But don't scare us like that again. That man... That man was crazy.”
Stronger than expected or not, she couldn't stop her maternal instinct to want to protect her from harm. She still seemed so sweet, after all.

After going into the room, escaping that horrible man, he felt as though being in there was intense and unexpected. He did want to forget about that intense battle and man. He had no idea as to why that man was there in the first place and saw that the dog was guiding them once again to get away from that guy, still carrying Arista in his arms. "You'll be ok, I promise." He whispered into her ear when rushing after the dog. He thought that Arista was sweet and did not deserve to get hurt from Alistar at all, and he still wished to figure out as to why that guy appeared in the study room in the first place, but attacking him first was still badass. Still bruised and all, he was running after the dog and he was seeing on where the dog was leading them too, and of course, there was no turning back now in case that psychotic man appeared again. While continuing to carry Arista, he whispered, "What you did was badass. Just let me or Marina do that action next time. Just don't scare us, please." He then just noticed that there was a bruise on Arista's neck, and he silently cursed to himself. "That bastard.." He cursed under her breath, still holding onto her. He saw that Marina was trying to wake her up from her blackout and so, he decided to do the same thing. "Please be ok.." He cooed, and quickly kissed her forehead, hoping that would wake her up.

Arista could hear the others talking and could feel herself bouncing. Weakly, she opened her eyes to see Marina talking to her. She gave her a weak smile to show she was going to be okay.
Glancing up at Jim, she listened to both of them requesting her not to scare them again like she had. She opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted by a coughing fit. Once she settled, she opened her mouth again to speak.
"...You two have a.. a better chance than m-me," she whispered out, her throat hurting. "I was...was closest, it gave you two a chance..."
Putting a hand on Jim's shoulder, she looked up over his shoulder to see behind them. "I-is he still... chasing us?"

Little did the three of them know that Alistair had already beaten them back to the room. He knew exactly where they were planning to go. It was their only way right now. They hadn't gotten a certain item that would keep them going forward. He was able to chase them off before they found it. But he was still pissed. Really pissed. Balto just had to go to them huh? He'd would have rather have Peg. The one dog that didn't growl or snap at them.
"Your effort is for naught." Alistair suddenly spoke out, causing all three of them to gasp and look behind them. "So you decide to mess up my study and when I tell you no.. You all run like little teenagers throwing a tantrum. I guess I'm going to have to teach you three a lesson. But don't worry.. It'll be over soon." He said before he started to walk towards the group.
CHOICES PART 2 QUICK, ALISTAIR IS GOING TO ATTACK, WHAT WILL YOU DO? A. SEND BALTO AFTER HIM, OR B. RUN AWAY AGAIN?

He heard the man coming into the room once again and he looked more determined to kill them right now. He was looking at the man and he looked as though he was pissed off right now, and Jim was not going to be dealing with this shit with this man, anymore. He had no idea as to why this man was after the group in the first place, and he was looking at the group and then the dog. He felt as though using the dog as a distraction got them away last time, so, he looked at Balto and looked at the man, and smirked, as though he had a plan. He was going to use the dog and attack the man. He hoped by just using the dog to attack the man, the three of them would go away. He looked at the dog and then saw the man and took a deep breath. "Balto, attack this creep. Go for what you aimed last time!" He commanded, hoping this would create a distraction for the man to deal with so, they could get away safely into another area.

YOU CHOSE TO SEND BALTO
Balto looked at Jim when he gave him a command. Balto growled before he ran towards Alistair. Alistair went to hit him away, but Balto dodged. He was able to get behind Alistair and bite him in the same spot he bit before. Alistair gave out a loud groan and covered his injury. Blood dripped on the floor. Alistair backed up and glared at the three of them.
"Meddlesome cunts.." He cursed before he suddenly used his power and created a smoke bomb. Blinding everyone. When the smoke was gone, Alistair was no longer there.
Balto's growling then subsided. The man was gone, but something caught Balto's eyes. He went to the object lying on the ground, picked up and brought it over to Jim.
It was a key for the Study Room.
CONGRATS, YOU PICKED THE RIGHT CHOICE. IT IS NOW TIME FOR YOU TO GO BACK TO THE STUDY AND SEE WHAT THIS KEY OPENS!"

As Jim saw that the dog was attacking the man once again and he felt as though sending the dog to attack him would make a good distraction to let him get away. He saw that he groaned in pain, and there was blood on the floor. "Damn Balto, you sure give out out a sharp bite." He murmured to himself as he saw the dog attacking Alistar. He then noticed that he created a smoke bomb, which made him cough. Where the hell did he go now? He then felt the dust of the smoke going into his eyes and he felt as though it did burn a heck lot. "Fuck.." He cursed under his breath as he was at least trying to open his eyes, to see on where he was going. He then heard the dog's growling subside and heard a jingling sound. Luckily, he could hear and touch the walls and know on where he was at least going just by touch. He then bent down, eyes still shut and grabbed the key. "Where does this lead to.." He asked himself as he used his hands to grab the walls and walked sideways until he felt a door. He then used the keys to open the door and gestured the two girls to come into the place before something else happens to all three of them. "C'mon.." He said silently, and used a hand gesture to have them come and follow the dog.
