That happened...

Eric had started backing away the moment he saw the white haired witch come into the room. When she had started killing the guy who had been sleeping, Eric almost shouted at them to run. Then she grabbed the redhead's hair.

He froze, unsure of what the crazy witch would do to the girl if he moved. Luckily he didn't have to worry about that when a dog came out of nowhere and bit the white haired demon's arm. The redhead got away, but missing most of her hair now.

Without having to be told twice, Eric was out the door, running as if the devil was on his heels. He watched the redhead woman fall to the ground at what looked like a front door.

"Shang? Other Man?"

"Other man is here, red." he said, moving past her to the door to try it.

When it didn't budge, he cursed. "Damn it, we need to get out of here before she comes back," he stated, before looking down at the woman on the ground. "Here, come on," he said, offering his hand to her. "You okay there, red?"

He watched her look at his hand unsure. "My name's Eric, and no I have no idea what the hell is going. I woke up to that witch chasing me."

Ariel liked Eric's answer. Red, huh?

She took his hand to shake it. 

"Oh! You're okay. My name is Ariel! If it makes you feel better, I don't know what is going on either. I woke up in that room with Shang and the man that just died" Watching his death was brutal but she couldn't think of that since since the gorgeous woman attacked her. Shit, I better not be attracted to a psychopath!

A twisted smile came upon Shang's face. What a brilliant death! That face, those cold eyes, that expert-level stab—
now that's my kind of woman! Maybe I'll let her get rid of these two before I put my moves on her.

He cleared his throat.

"My, what a scary situation. Ariel, my dear, that was most noble of you to try and fight with that crazy bit—I mean witc—I mean...woman. I thought you had it under control if you ask me. Why don't ya get out there and get round two started, eh?"

Killing women? He'd done it before. But why get his hands dirty when someone else could do it for him? Besides, he deemed Ariel as being too weak for him to even considered as his slave. The man though, Eric, perhaps had potential.

"And what about you, sir? Do you have the balls to take her o—...opps," he said, looking down. "Too soon?"

Eric turned to the other guy, 'Shang', when he spoke. The way he was talking, the man had to be insane. Eric walked over to him and grabbed him roughly by the collar. "How about I throw you to her instead?!" he asked, before Shang made that remark of him not having balls anymore.

Without warning or hesitation, Eric punched Shang clean in the nose, hearing a good sound crack. "I think we should leave you behind. You're as crazy as she is, aren't you?!"

Shang acted almost like it was all a joke, like he hadn't been kidnapped, like he was a spectator.

*Shang felt a wave of pain spread across his face, but his smile did not fade.*

"Ha! I know little girls in my clan that can punch harder than you," he said, before quickly lifting his hand up to stop Eric from getting aggravated. "But you got guts, that's for sure."

Shang adjusted his nose, which emitted crackling noises. Then, with one finger pressed against his nose, he exhaled a blob of blood from one nostril onto the floor. He didn't care that it almost landed on the dog's face.

"Hate to bust your balls..." Before Eric could react, Shang lifted his hands in surrender. "Didn't mean it that time! Honestly!" With a sign of relief, he continued, "Whether we like it or not, the three of us...*Looks to Roscoe.*...well, the four of us, if you include the mutt, need to work together to figure out how we're gonna get out of here, preferably before the white-haired woman comes back."

Shang reaches his hand out to shake Eric's.

"What ya say, good sir?"

His smile widened, but his mind showed the opposite:

Just you wait, little man. Once you're no longer useful to me, I'm going to pay you back for that punch. Hehe...if only you knew of the horror that waits you...ohh...it's giving me goosebumps.

Eric looked at Shang in disgust when he blew out that blob of blood and snot. When Shang started talking how they needed to work together, Eric had already made up his mind about him.

Glaring at the offered hand, Eric moved to kneel beside Roscoe and pet him. "Thanks for helping Ariel back there, boy," he said, before standing and moving to Ariel, completely ignoring the offered hand.

"I'd be careful around him... I know you two were in the same room together and that you just met me, but I got a bad feeling about him," he whispered to Ariel, low enough for Shang to not hear him. He mentally decided that he better stick close to Ariel, to keep her safe from both the white haired witch...

And from their comrade...

"We need to look around... That witch hasn't come after us, but she might still be around... Hopefully we can find a way out of here."

Shang was used to getting his way. He was the chief of his clan after all, and had dreams of conquering the entire continent. Getting punched in the face? Why that was considered a common greeting where he came from. But for Eric to ignore his "kind" gesture and instead give his attention to a dog...well...

*Shang's right eye twitches*

T-The nerve! He honestly wants me to vanquish him, doesn't he!? He watched with a close eye as Eric spoke with Ariel, all the while wondering about their conversation. The trust they seemed to share sparked a dark thought in his mind. The fool seems to be taking some liking to the wench. Hmmm...I may have just found another way to get back at him.

His imagination was running wild, but alas, Eric's words brought him back to the present.

*cough cough* "Yes, my good sir, I agree." *looks to Roscoe* "Hey mutt, put that nose to work and find us a trap door, or at least a weapon of some sort."

Ariel watched the two argue and fight. She wasn't sure if she should intervene. She looked down at the dog. She looked at his colar. Roscoe? Interesting name! She went to whisper to Roscoe. "Thank You" She gave the dog a few strokes on the back of his head. 

That is when she stood up, walked to a different spot. Eric came to talk to her. He warned her about Shang. She nodded to his advice. With the way Shang was acting, she wasn't too sure if she should trust him. But then he was trapped with her in that room. He seemed friendly in there. 

Ariel came to a conclusion to stay neutral with Shang.

"Hey mutt, put that nose to work and find us a trap door, or at least a weapon of some sort." Shang said this to the dog. He didn't budge.

Ariel cringed at what Shang called the dog. "Roscoe, can you help us? We are confused and would appreciate some way of guidance." Ariel said this in a calm and friendly matter. She likes him. She hopes he likes her back. Then again he attacked the woman who almost killed her. 

Hmm, he seems confused. Ariel looked at Roscoe. He seemed tired. "He seems tired." Ariel let Roscoe rest. 

"Shang, he is tired. We should let him rest for now. Also, his name is Roscoe." She said that last part carefully. She didn't want to piss him (Shang) off. 

Before Shang can react to her, she started to look for something to maybe help Roscoe out. She has always wanted to have pet by her side. She wants to care for him in the best way possible. 

She remembered that her hair is gone as she went to scratch her head. That Bitch! Oh man am I going to get her back at that. I won't kill her... That's impossible and slightly irrational. Maybe take away that white/silver hair? I dunno. 

((OCC: Note that Ariel wants to get back at Amalthea for taking her hair. She just thinks its irrational to kill her for cutting her hair.)

"Instead of barking orders at the dog, why not help us look?" Eric said as he walked around the entrance.

They had just come from the bedroom, through the hallway, before ending up in the entrance. He didn't even want to look down that hallway for anything, in fear of the woman reappearing. No, it was best to look around where they were.

Walking past his two companions, Eric ventured around the corner, cautiously keeping an eye out for something that could help them or hurt them. So far, he was coming up empty.

This place looks almost ancient, you'd think there would be something... He thought, getting a little frustrated.

Venturing further froward, Eric discovered a door. Cautiously, he reached up and tested the handle.

It was unlocked.

Should I check it out, or let the others know? He thought, almost wondering if he should just look out for himself. Then he reminded himself about how Shang rubbed him the wrong way.

Leaving Ariel alone with that man would be a mistake.

"Hey, I think I found something," he said, calling Ariel and Shang over to him. "This doors unlocked. There could be something in here that can help us. I think, from here on out, we need to try and stick together," he told them when they arrived.
